Meet Our Staff

  • Pastor Countryman and his family moved to Viera in December 2022 and are ridiculously blessed to call Faith Viera Lutheran Church home.

He was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University. After graduation from Purdue, he worked for four years at a pharmaceutical company in clinical research, and then marketing. He met his wife, Andrea, during that time, and they followed the Lord’s leading to attend Concordia Seminary in St. Louis from 2004-2008.

Prior serving at FVLC, the Countryman family called St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Mattoon, Illinois, home for eight and a half years, and then they served the saints at St. John Lutheran Church and School in Indianapolis, Indiana, for six years.

  • Elaine, a native of Buffalo, New York, directed music at churches in Arizona, Louisiana, Maryland, and Pennsylvania prior to moving to Florida. "I find making music to lead worship, building community, and supporting the Word of God very rewarding."

The Gregoris live in Viera, where Andy runs his family's highway construction company and Jane is at Ralph Williams Elementary.
