Music Ministry

The mission of our music ministry to to enhance worship by bringing beautiful anthems and melodies to God. If you are interested in joining one of the following groups or sharing your musical gifts (singing or instrument) as a solo or duet, contact Elaine Gregori: egregori@faithviera.org.

Chancel Choir is a group of harmonized singers that meet Wednesdays at 7pm.

Handbell Choir meets Tuesdays at 7pm to practice both meditative and exciting handbell music.

Our music ministry also includes entertaining and teaching music to groups outside of the church. Check out our Outreach Ministry to find out how you can become a part of this great ministry.

Faith Place

Faith Place – A Place For Seniors began its ministry in November 2018 and its purpose is two-fold: Faith Place is a safe and nurturing place for those individuals in the community who may need supervision in a social setting while providing their caregiver a much-needed break, and is also a place for seniors to attend who would like to make new friends, socialize and some good old fashion fun in a safe setting.

Faith Place welcomes all who can get around without assistance and those who are able to use the restroom on their own. Faith Place meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-4pm in Building E.

Family Promise

Family Promise is a group of local volunteers in Brevard County (local chapter) who are addressing the county’s homeless family problem, one family at a time.  What makes Family Promise distinct as a program assisting homeless families is that Family Promise keeps families together. Sadly enough, most homeless shelters cannot or will not accommodate families, and many must separate the families by sending teenage boys and men to different shelters from mothers and daughters. The goal of Family Promise is to strengthen our community by helping homeless families with children transition into self-sufficiency while keeping the family intact.

Faith Viera Outreach Committee joined the Family Promise of Brevard County as one of the 13 host churches in January 2011 and continues to support this much needed outreach ministry program today.

Our commitment is for a full week once a quarter, utilizing approximately 50 volunteers from our church to provide home cooked meals (breakfast and supper), room set up, as well as overnight support for the families through the week.  Leading this effort for Faith Viera is Lovi Lovisone and Roger Hill.  Congregation members interested in supporting this ministry, should contact Lovi at d2love@cfl.rr.com.

  • LWML

The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world. The LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.

Our society meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10 am.

  • Faith in Action

Faith in Action is a day of service and held annually at Faith “Viera”. Our members sign up to partner with local organizations throughout the county to serve our neighbors.

Past service projects include painting, yardwork, construction, beach cleanups, housekeeping assistance, and more.

Our mission is to “serve one another humbly in love.” (Galatians 5:13)

  • Trinity Lutheran School

Trinity Lutheran School has a 60+ year history of serving the Rockledge/Cocoa community with Christian education and serves grades preschool-8.

Since May 2020, our sister church, Trinity Lutheran, tasked Faith “Viera” with running the administration of the school. Future plans include beginning a new fellowship of people gathered around Word and Sacrament; this will eventually become the “new” Trinity Lutheran Church, and Faith “Viera” Lutheran’s formal involvement will end.
