Faith Place – A Place For Seniors
Faith Place began its ministry in November 2018 and its purpose is two-fold: Faith Place is a safe and nurturing place for those individuals in the community who may need supervision in a social setting while providing their caregiver a much-needed break and is also a place for seniors to attend who would like to make new friends, socialize and some good old fashion fun in a safe setting.
Faith Place welcomes all who can get around without assistance and those who are able to use the restroom on their own.
Faith Place is part of Faith Viera Lutheran Church. They have many active seniors and then some. They come together for fellowship, entertainment, exercise and more. The following link to over twenty five videos will give you a more information about Faith Place.
Faith Place provides an opportunity for seniors to come and enjoy games, lectures on a variety of topics, lots of music, movies, crafts and socializing. Faith Place is a safe place where precautions are taken to keep everyone safe and healthy. Snacks are served, and fun, easy chair exercises are part of each session.
Faith Place is run by volunteers who have been formally trained and who come from all walks of life. Faith Place is NOT a medical facility and is strictly social.
Faith Place meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-4pm in Building E at Faith “Viera” Lutheran Church. Faith Place does not charge a fee and is open to the entire community. Seniors who attend Faith Place come from all over Brevard County and from all faiths.
