Rest well., and the mother of five of the finest, feistiest children ever assembled under one roof. Brenda and her family have called Northeast Indiana home for 33 beautiful years.

Orion Netsanet considers it both his calling and privilege to amplify the voices of vulnerable children, families, and communities around the world.
As a Strategic Partnership Director with Children's HopeChest, he partners with churches, organizations, and leaders who are passionate about creating lasting, community-led transformation through sustainable global partnerships.
Orion studied Political Science and Pre-Law at Michigan State University and is deeply committed to serving both his local and global communities. A proud Ethiopian American, he serves as one of the Presidents of the Ethiopian Community of Michigan, helping strengthen relationships, preserve Ethiopian heritage, and advocate for the Ethiopian community across the state. He is also actively involved in numerous civic and community initiatives. In recognition of his leadership and service, Orion was honored with the 2024 AGOA Leadership Award in Michigan.
Outside of work, Orion enjoys spending time with his wife, 1-year-old son, and their four-legged family member, whether relaxing on the beach, kayaking, reading a great book, sharing meaningful conversations, or exploring new places. He is an avid student of Ethiopian and African history, and if he could choose any superpower, it would undoubtedly be teleportation.
