We begin Ash Wednesday with Imposition of Ashes from 6:30 to 8 am. There will be continuous
readings and devotions, with the imposition
of ashes every 12 to 15 minutes. You are
invited to come for as little or long as you would like as a “come-and-go”
worship experience.
Ash Wednesday services will be held at noon and 7:00 pm. Beginning
at 5:45 pm a Soup and Salad Meal will be
provided in the Ministry Center Fellowship Hall. No sign-up
needed--just come!
Each Wednesday
of the Lenten season (which begins February 22nd) there will
be a short (35 minute) worship at 7:00 pm offered around the “Body
of Christ” theme--the hands, the feet, the eyes, the head, etc. Draw
closer to our Lord as we travel together the Path to Holy Week.
Thursday of Holy Week, a special service portraying
the Last Supper will be held at 7:00 pm (see
in other parts of this newsletter). Good Friday worship will be at noon
and 7:00 pm (Tenebrae). |

Sunday December 11, 3pm & 5pm - With Orchestra! Invite your neighbors & friends! Free Admission! Seek, and you will find. It is one of best-known and oft-quoted scripture passages. In a broad sense, all Christians are seekers: seekers of Christ in all parts of our lives, much as those centuries ago, were seeking a Messiah to lead the faithful out of the darkness and into a promised land. And it is from this heart-felt premise that the familiar Christmas is brought to life in this joyful production by John Purifoy. Incorporating familiar carols as well as John Purifoy's well-known original melodic gifts, Christmas Seekers will not only enhance your celebration of Christmas, but engender the spirit of seeking Christ in all we are and in all we do. |
