Sr. High Youth

The Sr. High Youth Group (for those in 9-12th grade) meets nearly every Sunday evening in the Youth Room (in the ministry center hallway) from 6:00-8:00pm.

Some of the activities the youth are involved in throughout the year include:

• District Youth Gatherings
• Mission Trips
• Beach Days
• Lock-ins
• Movies Nights
• Progressive Fun Nights

Jr. High Youth and Confirmation

Jr. Youth and Confirmation: this group is specially designed for 7th and 8th graders.

• Confirmation is a two year program where the youth learn about what it means to be a Christian as well as Lutheran Theology.

• Jr. Youth has a variety of activities every year. Some of the favorites are: the Middle School Gathering where over 900 people attend, and the End of the Year Retreat with just their own group.

Kids

Sunday School is offered during the 9:30 service for preschoolers through elementary school. This is a year-round program except on holiday weekends. The children start out in the worship service, and after the Children’s Message they are lead over to the Ministry Center for an exciting Sunday School time. After the service, parents pick their children up in the Fellowship Hall.

Vacation Bible School: Every summer Faith ‘Viera’ hosts a great and entertaining VBS where the kids learn more about Jesus, learn songs, make crafts, play games and have a great time. The week long, half day camp ends with the kids performing the songs at the Saturday worship service. See 2011 Info.

Throughout the year there will be different activities for the kids and families; some are Crafts Day, Beach Day, going to the park or a movie together.

Little Lambs: This great program during the school year in the Nursery, for kids too young for preschool, to come and play with a parent and meet new friends. Music is also offered twice a month for free for all participants. Wednesdays 9:00-10:00am.
