Men's Bible Studies

Men’s Monday Night Bible Study: Monday Nights at 8:00pm there is a group of men that meet for Bible Study and fellowship. We meet for 6-8 weeks and break for a few weeks before we start again.

Men’s Breakfast: The first Saturday of every month all men are invited for breakfast and a short devotion. They meet in the Fellowship Hall from September – May and in restaurants during the summer months.

Women's Bible Studies

LWML: Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League meets monthly for lunch and a Bible study

Women’s Fellowship: They meet between September and May, on the second Monday of each month. Please plan to join us for a relaxing time of good food and fellowship. A sign-up sheet will be placed in the Narthex during the weeks before the event, so we can plan for enough food. There is no charge for the luncheon. Please come be our guest, even if you have never attended our meetings before.

CCC: Comparative Church Class

Faith ‘Viera’ is offering a series of classes on: (a) What makes a Christian church a Christian church?; (b) What makes a church a Lutheran Church?; (c) Why do we worship as we do and how is the church organized? This is a three week class that is offered a few times a year. Please let the church know you would like to be notified next time this class is offered. Following this class there is a “transfer of membership class” for those who would like to consider formal membership at Faith ‘Viera’ Lutheran. This class is also offered to those who hold membership in another Lutheran Church and wish to transfer here.

Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University

Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University is a 13 week class that helps with personal finance presented via DVD by Dave Ramsey. Classes are offered a couple times a year. Six Week Classes

We are continually offering many six week classes at different times and on different days. Some of the classes offered are: World Religions, Early Church Fathers, Angels, Spiritual Gifts, Holy Spirit, Romans, Paul, and more. Today's Light

Currently we are offering two Today’s Light Classes on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Today’s Light is a two year study that covers the entire Bible. Over 200 people in the congregation have gone through this great class.

New 2-year session beginning May 3, 2011 - Tuesdays at 1pm
We will be going through the entire Bible but not in sequence. Each week an Old Testament  and  a New Testament portion will be assigned, and one Psalm will be used for a devotional.  Pastor Meyr will lead this study.
